With a name like Adelaide, it should come as no surprise that my youngest daughter would want an old-fashion style birthday party.
She's not a flashy kind of girl.
She's a low-key, keep it simple kind of gal.
So when we asked her what she wanted to do for her 7th birhtday, she knew exactly what she wanted.
Scavenger hunt. Bobbing for apples. Potato sack racing.
Even without any front teeth, Adelaide rocked the bobbing for apples contest.
Ellie went in full force (big shock!) and also seemed to have it in the bag with five apples collected.
But then ... the Davises got in on the competition. And they blew the Essmans out of the park with a winning 7 apples collected!
The nature scavenger hunt was a big hit. Entertained the kids for at least 12 minutes before they began fighting over whether a cheese puff qualified as something round in nature.
A little potatoe sack racing.
Of course my sweet niece making an appearnace just makes everything that much better!
But the party has only just begun ... bring on pary two - the sleepover.
That was SUCH a great party! I love your girls so much.
